1. Who we are

MAXDEV SRL, with its registered office at Str. Vasile Babuș no. 1, Fundulea, Călărași County, Romania, CUI 54548844, Trade Registry No. J2026027220007, EUID ROONRC.J2026027220007 (referred to below as "MAXDEV" or "we"), is the data controller for the personal data collected through the maxdev.ro website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR).

2. What personal data we collect through forms

We collect personal data only when you provide it to us voluntarily, mainly through the contact and quote request forms on the website. This data may include: first and last name, email address, phone number, your company name, and the content of the message you send.

We do not request or collect any special categories of personal data (sensitive data, such as health data, ethnic origin, or religious beliefs) through these forms.

3. Data collected automatically through cookies and analytics tools

In addition to the data you provide directly, we also collect data about how the website is used, through cookies and similar technologies, placed only with your consent:

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4): aggregated data about traffic and browsing behavior (pages visited, time spent, traffic source).
• Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel: data about your interaction with the website, used to measure the performance of our online advertising campaigns and for retargeting on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
• Google Search Console: aggregated data about the website's performance in Google search results. This tool does not place cookies and does not collect data about individual website visitors.

4. Purpose of collecting data

We use the data submitted through forms solely to respond to your requests, prepare quotes for our services and, where applicable, carry out the resulting contractual relationship. We do not use this data for marketing purposes, unless you have explicitly given your consent for that.

We use the data collected automatically, described in section 3, to understand and improve how the website works and to measure the effectiveness of our online advertising campaigns.

5. Legal basis for processing

We process data submitted through forms based on the consent you give when submitting the contact form, and/or based on our legitimate interest in responding to requests received and preparing commercial quotes. Where a contract is concluded, further processing is also based on the need to perform that contract.

For the analytics and marketing cookies described in section 3 (GA4, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel), the legal basis for processing is your consent, expressed through the website's consent settings, which you can withdraw at any time.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep the data collected through the contact forms for as long as necessary to resolve your request. If your request results in a contract, we keep the data for the duration of the contractual relationship, plus the period required by applicable tax and accounting legislation.

Data from requests that do not result in a contract is kept for a reasonable period, needed for any follow-up discussions, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Data collected through analytics and marketing cookies is kept for the period indicated in our cookies policy, or until you withdraw your consent.

7. Who we may share your data with

Your data may be accessed by MAXDEV staff involved in handling requests and by our technical service providers (for example, website hosting and email providers), to the extent necessary for the website to function and for us to communicate with you. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.

Data collected through analytics and marketing cookies may be shared with Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics, Search Console), Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta Pixel), and TikTok Information Technologies UK Limited (TikTok Pixel), for the purposes described in section 3.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• the right to access your data;
• the right to rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
• the right to erasure of your data ("the right to be forgotten"), under the conditions provided by law;
• the right to restrict processing;
• the right to object to processing;
• the right to data portability;
• the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).

10. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data you entrust to us against unauthorized access, loss, disclosure or misuse.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, to reflect legal changes or changes to how we process data. The applicable version is the one published on this page, as of the last updated date shown above.
